Lisa’s early work was done in a clinical setting.  This experience became her springboard to shift her practice directly to where the challenges exist : in the home, school and community.  Lisa’s home based therapy is in real time working with parents to develop goals, outcomes and strategies that are manageable, practical and realistic. Through Lisa's clinical knowledge, expertise and understanding, parents increase their tools to become more effective in raising a child with physical, behavioral, sensory and/or emotional challenges.

Using a therapeutic model of reinforcing positive behavior, Lisa has addressed a myriad of parental concerns and child behaviors.  She has helped parents deal with management of OCD, anxiety, ADHD, and sensory issues. Her evidence based parenting strategies have helped children to decrease tantrums, improve listening and following directions, make successful transitions and address issues such as toilet training, sleeping and eating.  Her work with adolescents and teens have focused on ways to manage anxiety, stress and OCD using Mindfulness practices and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  Ways to maintain health and wellness are a pivotal part of her practice.

Lisa works closely with other therapists, i.e., OT, PT, Speech, to optimize effective and long lasting results. This collaborative approach coupled with her in home evidence based strategies has helped to create positive outcomes.

Lisa, her husband and three children live in Westchester, NY.
